Closing Ceremony – FIDE Women’s Grand Prix

The curtains come down on one of the biggest chess events we’ve ever hosted. Hats off to all who made it happen. If you hear applause echoing down the streets, now you know why.

LET’S PLAY CHESS 4 FUN

A midweek dose of blitz, laughs, and bold sacrifices you probably shouldn’t have played (but totally will). Hosted by the always-creative Shah Mat Masters Chess Academy — it’s casual, it’s social, and yes, it’s actually fun.

Sunshine, fresh air, and 64 squares of happiness. Every Sunday, chess lovers gather at Athalassa Park for casual games under the trees. It’s chill, it’s friendly, and occasionally interrupted by curious cats or a strong gust flipping your score sheet. Bring a board, bring a friend, or just swing by and play.

That’s the week! If you see a good boy staring at a chessboard like he understands the King’s Indian — that’s probably me.
